This weeks gallery were all pretty interesting. This particular one caught my eye. Christine Hudson had a gallery in the Merlino Gallery. Her background inspiration came from a true story which i felt really connected too, not from experience though. I asked how long this project took, and she said it took about six months give or take mainly give. Six whole months or more of making these tiny teeth sculptures of which the majority of them were molars. This is hard work, all due to the depression Christine came upon because of a lost of one of her friends. Christine’s friend was a transgender person living a normal life but committed suicide. To alleviate the pain for months she made tiny little teeth sculptures. This turned out too be one of the best galleries this year in my opinion I too suffer from depression but I don’t tell anyone about this.
